Dr. Jerri Nielsen FitzGerald, who diagnosed and treated her own breast cancer in the South Pole, died Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009.

- Karaoke for the Cure was formed in 2005 by Shirley R. Huff and Kasey G. Opalewski- 2 friends that have been affected by breast cancer. Our team consists of family, friends and co-workers that strive to raise awareness about the battle of breast cancer. Each year our team has grown and we have raised more and more money that helps to fund research, treatment, education and awareness through the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer foundation. Most of our fundraising efforts and events take place during September - October each year.
